AMBER SAVAGE – 2004

Amber Savage is recognised as one of Australia’s leading female DJ performers. Since appearing on the scene in 2000 as a mere 19 year old, she’s been making a name for herself across the nation with her vibrant personality and music style winning the hearts of clubbers everywhere. Amber’s raw talent and determination has carved a path that has seen many accomplishments along the way.

In a few short years, she’s come a long way as a DJ which has seen her billed at most of Sydney’s clubs, play alongside some well know internationals, appear at the finest clubs on the national club circuit and even scored a slot to spin at the 2002 Big Day out - Australia’s largest music festival. By 2003 she’d topped it all off by landing a residency in the main room at Sydney’s award winning club night, Sublime at home.

Discovering rave culture as a teenager in the mid-nineties, Amber would spend weekends raving and attend school by day where her studies and interests were music and art orientated. Upon finishing high school Amber pursued the path to become a career DJ.

2004 marks another milestone in her career with the announcement of the 2004 Technics ITM Top 50 Australian DJ poll in which she soared an astonishing 30 places up the list from her result in 2003 to become 11th in the country, a true testament of her popularity.
